The Crown is a show that reflects on The Crown Act
and the right to wear our hair, especially Black hair, in the way we want to freely without being targeted or discriminated against. Black or Biracial Black artists will be tasked to create pieces that speak to the themes of pride, creativity, and the journey that Black Hair has taken throughout the years.

Please include information about the piece or pieces you'd like to have included in the exhibition, The Crown. All media and ages accepted for consideration. You may include 1-3 items for submission.
Any pieces accepted and for sale, Black Moon will take a 20% commission plus sales tax.
Ensure that all items are hangable or ready to be displayed.
A contract will be available to sign upon dropping off of art pieces

Exhibit Dates are Friday, March 29th from 7pm - 10pm and Saturday, March 30th from 11:00 am - 3:00 pm at the Oklahoma Center for the Humanities The University of Tulsa (101 E Archer St. Tulsa Oklahoma 74103 - old AHHA building downtown)

Pickup for art pieces will be the week of Sunday, March 31st - April 6th at Black Moon Studio near Denver & Archer (a few artists will be asked if they would like to contribute their pieces to this space to have on display for the month of April)
